Six Weeks of Language & Laughter | 6 Wednesdays @ 6pm | Begins January 14th
Let me take you by the hand and bring you into the vibrant world of Yiddish! In this class, you’ll learn how to build sentences, tell jokes, and share stories in the over 1,000-year-old language that your Bubbies and Zeides spoke! Together, we’ll explore the words, phrases, and cultural flavor that make Yiddish so full of life. Whether you’re reconnecting with your roots or discovering the language for the first time, you’ll leave each session with a feeling of Geshmak!
Each week will feature:
Basic vocabulary building
Expression of the week
Unpacking a Yiddish song
A Yiddish story - told and translated
Registration includes a copy of the renowned textbook by Chaim Werdyger. 4 of the lessons will be covered in our series. Empowering you to continue the journey on your own!
