As we enter the eighth year of the academy serving the Jewish community of the S. Gabriel Valley, it is our pleasure to present you with our lineup of offerings for the Jewish year of 5785.
The past year has been a difficult one for all of us. As we attempt to go about our day-to-day lives, our hearts ache with news from around the world. Be it the safety of our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land, or the rise in Jew-hatred on college campuses, many of us are finding ourselves re-examining what it means to be Jewish in 2024.
As Jews, we know that whether times are good or bad, we can always turn to the Torah, our source of life and inspiration to guide us.
It is against this backdrop that we commit ourselves to another year of Jewish exploration, curating a variety of different experiences, all with the same goal: to learn more about our traditions.
In recent years, we have watched as the world
around us thirsts for morality and spirituality. It is our hope that with the variety of offerings presented we can cater to Jews of all backgrounds and interests.
So take a moment to peruse our updated programming for 5785. We hope to greet you soon, happy and curious, with an open heart and an inquisitive mind!
